When Rajnikant Patel BSE was the top executive at the Bombay Stock Exchange from 2001 to 2008, he worked towards the implementation of educational programs for executives. These programs were designed to improve on the knowledge and skills of the participants and, thus, enable them to become more effective and efficient in their jobs and careers.
The educational initiatives made by Rajnikant Patel include:
* Remodelled the brokers training at the BSE Training Institute into the more advanced International Capital Market Institute (ICAI)
* Coordinated with ICAI in the introduction of XBRL standards in his home country
* Worked with NM University in launching the country’s first full-time master’s in business administration (MBA) program with its specialization in capital markets
* Introduced the inbound executive Financial Market program for foreigners as well as the outbound International program for executives in India
Under his leadership, the Bombay Stock Exchange Institute became a profit center as well as garnered international recognition for its excellent education for executives.
During His Time at the Indian Commodity Exchange
Rajnikant Patel continued his education initiatives at his next job. He launched the commodity market module, the first of its kind at the Dalmia Institute of Management Studies’ MBA degree program. Said module was also accepted by the executives and educators at Mumbai University in its own program.
Even in his current job, he continues to educate his clients, in a way, in a wide range of subjects. He provides strategy advice on products and services, areas for diversification, and change management. His dedication to the job at hand has earned him a reputation as among the best corporate strategy advisers.
